  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional Ingredients:

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons additional oil - improves smoothness and reduces sticky texture
  • 1 tablespoon honey - adds natural sweetness and softer texture
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons melted butter - adds richness and creaminess
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons melted margarine - alternative for softness and spreadability

Instructions

  • Roast peanuts if needed until golden and aromatic, then let them cool slightly.
  • Place peanuts into a food processor or high-powered blender.
  • Blend until peanuts turn into fine crumbs.
  • Continue blending until they release oils and form a thick paste.
  • Add oil, sugar, and salt.
  • Add optional ingredients if desired (extra oil, honey, butter, or margarine).
  • Blend again until smooth and creamy.
  • Scrape sides as needed for even blending.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Transfer to a clean airtight jar and store properly.
